A perfect afternoon snack, easy to make and no one’s complaining!
4 cups self-raising flour
375ml can of lemonade
300ml thickened cream
For topping you can use Mum’s favourite, jam & whipped cream for serving
1. Preheat oven to 180C.
2. Add all ingredients in a container, close the lid and shake together. Open lid to let the dough breathe then shake again until mixed.
3. Knead dough and roll out to 3-4cm thickness or as desired.
4.Cut into scone shapes.
Arrange scones on an oven tray lined with baking paper.
5. Cook in oven for 15 min or until lightly golden.
6.Serve with jam and cream.
