Homemade Pizzas

Mouth-watering, soft and fluffy dough with all your favourite toppings! You can’t go wrong with homemade pizza!

INGREDIENTS
DOUGH

1 1/2 Cups warm water

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

3 3/4 cups plain or bread flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon sugar

PIZZA SAUCE

Tomato paste

Mixed Herbs

Minced garlic

TOPPINGS

(you can use whatever you and your family like, below are suggestions)

Capsicum (sliced)

Onion (sliced)

Mushrooms (sliced)

Pineapple chunks

Cherry tomatoes (halved or quartered)

Salami

Ham

Pizza Cheese (shredded)

METHOD
Place warm water in a large bowl, or bowl of your stand mixer. Sprinkle with the yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until the yeast in dissolved.

Once the water and yeast mixture starts to foam add the flour, salt, sugar and olive oil to the bowl.

You can now mix the ingredients using your stand mixer with the dough hook attachment or by hand.

Knead the dough until it is a little tacky to the touch.

Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl for at least 1 1/2 hours, up to 24 hours.

Preheat the oven to 210-240 degrees Celsius and lightly spray your chosen pizza tray(s).

Prep the toppings and mix the pizza sauce when the dough is ready.

Split the dough into two balls – on a lightly floured surface use your hands to flatten the dough into your desired pizza shape.

Spread the pizza sauce on the base and then top with your desired toppings.

Bake the pizzas in the oven for 15-20 minutes – until golden brown.
